Happy New Year!

Yes, yes, it’s the 4th of January, but I’ve been busy editing the first book that I’m releasing this year. Seriously, this year is going to have far more editing than actual writing, I think. But I do like editing so I’m kind of excited. It feels less mentally taxing than writing first drafts, which always take the most out of me.

And what am I releasing soon?

A new series called Starfallen! It’s an urban fantasy with angels, demons, and vampires. Very focused on action and fighting to stop the end of the world.

I’m so excited for it. It’s an idea that I’ve had for years but could never finish into a proper novel. Seeing it finally taking shape and getting ready for publication is making me so, so excited, you guys have no idea. I think I had the idea about eight or ten years ago, but back then I didn’t have the narrative skill to create a good story from the core of the idea that I had.

The title and full cover is still a bit of a secret, but I’ll keep telling you guys how the writing progress goes. So far, editing has gone pretty fast. Much faster than I thought it would go. I think that’s because this is such a fast paced and action filled story. I keep catching myself smiling in excitement as I read and edit.
